Last August developer Part Time Monkey released their silly walking game, appropriately titled Silly Walks (Free), into the iOS App Store. As the name alludes to, in Silly Walks you’ll be guiding various anthropomorphic food items around levels filled with all manner of hazards that are just dying to, well, put an end to all that silly walking! The game’s one-touch controls made for a game that was easy to play but hard to master, to borrow a tired cliche, as you tried to time the steps of each foot independently so as to navigate yourself through some truly tricky situations. Well, after more than 3.5 million downloads on iOS since last August, and due to popular demand, Part Time Monkey has now released an Android version of Silly Walks on the Google Play Store.
As, well, silly as Silly Walks looks on the surface, it’s actually a highly skill-based game, and there’s no question you’ll be meeting your grisly demise on more than one occasion as you work your way through the game. It’s a satisfying challenge though, and I just can’t help but smile at all the silly characters in the game, whether they be types of food or menacing household items. So if you’re in the world of Android and have been jonesing for some silly walking, head on over to the Google Play Store and grab Silly Walks for free.
