Saturday Night Live report card: Peter Dinklage steals the show

Just in case you had forgotten that Peter Dinklage was on Game of Thrones, Saturday Night Live was there to remind you.

Last night's episode featured a couple of sketches centered around Dinklage's famous character, Tyrion Lannister, but it was his non-Game of Thrones moments that made the biggest impact.

One of the best sketches of the night, for example, was also one of the weirdest. "Space Pants" featured Dinklage sporting a pair of, well, space pants, singing one of the best original songs the show's had in years. To his credit, Dinkalge —€” who's best known for his super serious role on the HBO series — let his hair down and nailed the sketch, allowing the ridiculousness of it all to succeed.

Britain’s first mass produced computer goes on public display

The HEC was the first mass-produced computer in Britain

A pioneering piece of first-generation computer hardware was re-introduced to the public today. Almost 63 years after it made its debut at a trade show, the prototype of Britain's first mass-produced business computer is now on display at The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC) at Bletchley Park in Milton Keynes, about 50 miles north of London. The Hollerith Electronic Computer (HEC-1) was Britain's most commercially successful early computer and the first to be installed in many countries, such as India, New Zealand, and those in East Africa.
