Anthemis barely a month away, and information continues to trickle in on how the game will operate in the wild. For games like Destiny, matchmaking is often not available for the game’s hardest and most rewarding content. Anthem seems to be going another way with it, according to BioWare.
Ben Irving, one of Anthem’s lead producers and frequent host of BioWare’s gameplay streams, took to Twitter to answer a fan question on the subject, confirming that matchmaking will be abundant.
There is matchmaking for every activity in the game https://t.co/D32Ty8YCQ8

Irving assured players that all activities in the game will have matchmaking in one way or another. However, not all activities for Anthem are currently known. Thus far, we’ve only seen gameplay of the free play mode as well as the game’s take on dungeons, called Strongholds.
In publisher Electronic Arts’ most recent livestream, the team revealed that Anthem’s version of raids won’t make it out when the game launches. Players who intend to get their gear up as high as they can will have aspirational content to chase at launch, however. Solo players will undoubtedly make use of the newly-revealed matchmaking to aid them in their quest.
Potential Anthem players who are worried about not having a serious crew day one should be able to breathe a bit easier knowing that a well-formed group will be just a short queue away.
